When Photographers Go Quiet
Lately, I’ve noticed that some photographers I used to enjoy are no longer posting.
There was no announcement. No explanation. They’re just gone.
There was no announcement. No explanation. They’re just gone.
And honestly, I miss them.
I miss the way they looked at the world, and the habit of seeing their work in my feed.
I don’t think they stopped taking pictures.
I don’t think they stopped taking pictures.
Maybe they just got tired.
Not tired of photography, but tired of what it takes to keep showing up online.

From the outside, posting can seem harmless.
But over time, it can turn into pressure, comparison, noise, and the sense that you always have to stay visible.

Sometimes, going quiet isn’t a loss of inspiration.
It’s just a way to breathe again.
It’s just a way to breathe again.
