Some Photographs Take Time
This one did.
It was received more quietly than others. So be it. It still means a great deal.
What stayed with me was the statue itself - almost human, untouched by age, looking out the window.
It touches on something I keep returning to in my work - what stays, and how briefly we pass through.
Perhaps that is why these images sometimes feel less silent than they appear.
What remains. What passes.
